Monday quote
Idolatry is committed, not merely by setting up false gods, but also by setting up false devils; by making men afraid of war or alcohol, or economic law, when they should be afraid of spiritual corruption and cowardice.
Why is it that men like Chesterton almost always are found in the RCC?
ReplyDeleteChesterton is good isn't he. I have half a dozen quotes and I have not even read his stuff (other than perhaps an essay or 2).
ReplyDeleteBut Protestants have a few. Lewis is an excellent author, and has a few good quotes. Or course he was influenced by Chesterton, and perhaps Tolkien.
