Literally

You literally use the word "literally" too much; and more importantly, you use it incorrectly.

  1. Sheldon, from the Big Bang Theory?

  2. Don't watch it. Did Sheldon say something similar, or does he use the word too often?

The comment is mine. Inspired by a particular conversation that was reminiscent of many others.

    1. Sheldon says just about the same thing you wrote to a less than brainy character in an episode. I did a quick search on You Tube, but couldn't find the clip to show you. Oh well, what a drag (not literally, of course).

  5. Yes Eric, I thought of your option, but then I would be doing the thing I was complaining about: using the word "literally" too frequently. Then again, your emphasis could add irony to the complaint.

Why people cannot use the word "really" when that is what they mean?
