I don't think Thomas Brooks, or any other human, is in a position to make such a claim.
ReplyDeleteIf "true" means "genuine" here then perhaps you are correct.
ReplyDeleteI read it more like true to the nature of things rather than whether or not the repentance is true/ genuine
Though true repentance is never too late,
yet late repentance seldom happens.
If one puts off repentance till later then he may never repent.
